Through our Motor Insurance Information Service, you can obtain details of the third-party liability insurer of vehicles registered in Austria.

In addition, when submitting inquiries regarding foreign license plates, you will be redirected to the responsible authority.

You will also find in the overview section:

the Directory of Correspondents (representation in Austria),
foreign representatives of Austrian insurance companies,
the 4KH representative companies,
information on Green Card Bureaux,
as well as the current rotation schedule.

Use these services to independently research insurance information or to find the appropriate contact partners for claims handling.

Motor vehicle insurer information query

Register of liability insurance for vehicles registered in Austria. For vehicles that are not subject to compulsory insurance pursuant to Section 59 (2) KFG 1967, you will receive the name and address of the registered keeper.
